Our first time exhibiting at the 2017 UK Concrete Show turned out to be a great success for MTData. Hosted at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK, our booth attracted a lot of interest from visitors, with Talon our in-vehicle driver solution and our concrete barrel sensors being a hit.

Our Latest Concrete Solutions Were A Big Hit!

Visitors were interested in our concrete job dispatch functionality, and our ability to connect and integrate with concrete batching systems including Jonel and Command.

The visitors were excited to see what MTData’s telematics could do that was over and above basic tracking, especially how our solutions could display other activity on both concrete job statuses and volumetric vehicles.

Hawk-Eye, our web-based software, was also popular amongst visitors, who said it was intuitive and had a user-friendly interface.

They liked how it displayed concrete batching information including job statuses (truck has loaded, is unloading, and returning to plant or onsite) and the number of barrel rotations.

Talon Drew A Lot of Interest!

Visitors commented how they liked the simplicity and modular nature of Talon, mitchell w customers
and it’s flexibility of not requiring expensive equipment.

Operators were especially interested in the driver declaration (pre-trip questionnaires) in regards to compliance, and it’s configurable nature, which will reduce paper logging for their drivers.

Overall, we had a lot of interest across a range of visitors at the UK Concrete Show, from simple tracking of vans and company cars to mixers, volumetric vehicles and static plant machinery.
